Midyear Business Reset for Christian Women Entrepreneurs: You're Not Behind, You're Right on Time

Originally published from Kingdom Revolution Podcast Episode - June 3, 2025

Can I be totally transparent with you? The month of May flew by for me, and if you've been feeling anything like I have—a little bit heavy, wondering if you're making real progress in your business—this message is for you.

As Christian women entrepreneurs, we often find ourselves carrying burdens that were never meant to be ours. What once felt exciting and full of purpose in our business can start to feel like pressure, especially when we're not seeing the results we hoped for by now.

But here's what I want you to know: You're not behind. You are not disqualified. You're right on time for a midyear reset and breakthrough.

The Reality of Building a Kingdom Business

While supporting my amazing clients inside the Kingdom Business Revolution and Business by God's Design Academy this month, I've been reminded of something powerful: taking messy, faith-filled action forward is exactly how clarity comes.

In the beginning, we don't know what we're doing. We just know there was a Holy Spirit pivot—that moment where we knew we were called to the online business space, that God was calling us to more. We had this dream, this desire inside to bring forth our area of expertise and create a business that generates both income and impact.

If you're a woman called to online business, I wholeheartedly believe that God is calling you to rise up and step onto the business battlefield. You're not only called to create impact with those you serve—your online business IS the battlefield where you get to show up and change broken and corrupt systems, wreak havoc on the darkness of this world, shift paradigms, and break strongholds.

Why Spring is Your New Beginning

Here's something that might shift your perspective entirely: our worldly calendar isn't our Heavenly Father's calendar. While the world tells us New Year's resolutions should have been accomplished by now, God's calendar works differently.

New Year's in the biblical calendar is actually springtime—when the world starts to wake up from its hibernation over winter. We have things backward when we follow the world's way. God's way is so much easier. His burden is light, and His yoke is easy.

Right now, we're just moving into springtime on the Lord's calendar. It's the beginning of a new year. The leaves are coming back on the trees, the grass is becoming green, and everything is coming alive again.

This is the beginning of a new season in your business. If those thoughts of "I thought I'd be so much further along by now" have crept into your mind, I want to lovingly remind you:

  • You're not behind

  • You are not disqualified

  • You may have disqualified yourself, but the Lord has qualified you

  • You are anointed for the business battlefield

  • You're not too late

  • Your journey is your journey

Three Simple Ways to Refocus and Realign with God's Design
1. Revisit Your God-Given Vision

God planted those seeds for your business in your heart. What did He speak to you before the marketing plans, before the gurus said to do this and that, before you kept changing strategies, before the overwhelm, before the comparison crept in?

What was that vision God put on your heart?

Go back to that place, write it down, and speak it out loud. As Habakkuk 2:2 says, "Write the vision and make it plain, so those that hear it can run after it."

Let the Holy Spirit breathe fresh wind and fresh encouragement into what may feel dry, burdened, or dusty. God didn't change His mind. He called you. He has a purpose for your online business.

Sometimes the clarity we crave isn't a new idea—it's remembering the vision and dream He already gave us.

2. Clarify Your Assignment for This Season

As moms and women, we go through different seasons, and you're not called to carry everything in every season. But you ARE called to do something, and that something may shift from season to season.

Maybe you've been trying to do too much—offering too many things, speaking to too many people, juggling too many platforms, trying to be everywhere on social media, or cranking out freebie after freebie hoping to gain traction.

Social media is not a business growth plan. That's a fast track to burnout and confusion.

A business that is by God's design is not a business of chaos—it's clarity. And clarity starts with what I call the Power of One framework:

  • One problem you're anointed to solve

  • One person you're uniquely called to serve

  • One offer that truly transforms

  • One clear path for growth and impact

  • One promise rooted in kingdom purpose

When you align with His focus, not the world's pressure, your business becomes lighter, simpler, and far more fruitful.

Clarity produces confidence, and confidence fuels the momentum you need. But remember—clarity comes from taking action, not from thinking about taking action.

Ask God: "What is my assignment right now in this season? What is that one problem You've equipped me to solve? Who are You calling me to serve?"

3. Renew Your Rhythms

Sometimes it's not the vision that's off—it's the pace you're running at. Maybe you've been running on fumes, feeling disconnected, pushing without pausing, neglecting your self-care, and not spending time with your Heavenly Board of Directors.

Kingdom businesses that are profitable, successful, and sustainable aren't built through hustle culture. They're built through spending time with the Holy Spirit and your Heavenly Board of Directors.

What if your next level of growth doesn't come from more output or doing more? What if it comes from renewed rhythms?

  • Rhythms of rest

  • Rhythms of prayer

  • Rhythms of planning

  • Rhythms of being present with your Heavenly Father

Let Him guide you back to a place where your business feels light again—not because the work is easy (I know growing a business is hard), but because His yoke is easy when it's shared and we're in alignment.

Strategy is important, but what's more important is strategy with surrender and being in alignment with your kingdom calling. That's where sustainable, spirit-led growth lives for your business by God's design.

The Power of Kingdom Collaboration

Let me share something exciting that happened during my focus on lead generation this month. While putting together the Mic Drop and Juice Boxes private audio podcast summit, my email list grew by 150 amazing women in just one week—and that was only week one of promotion!

This happened through kingdom collaboration strategies—building relationships and leveraging partnerships to add value to other people's audiences. This is how you can significantly grow your email list without being a slave to social media.

Kingdom relationships and collaboration strategies are where sustainable growth happens. It's about serving others first and building genuine connections in the faith-based business community.

Your Next Steps Forward

If you're on the edge of your dream, afraid to say yes, if you've drifted from God's initial calling on your life or business, or if you're second-guessing that stir of the Holy Spirit inside you and waiting to say yes until you feel ready—here's the truth:

You're never going to feel ready. God isn't asking for perfection. He's simply asking for you to move.

For each of you, that next step looks different:
